Last Day of the Trip: Around Miami
We disembarked the ship, picked up our rental car, and enjoyed driving around Miami.
Disembarkation was pretty fast. We were picked up by the Hertz shuttle in about 10 minutes, picked up the rental car, and were off!

| Our first stop was the old Parrot Jungle. (It has moved, but this is where it was.) | EHG drove, since she knew where she was going--we were too little when we left Miami to remember much!--and I am a nervous driver on roads I know. | |

| This is where my sister and I were born, Miami Baptist Hospital We also visited two of the hospitals where my mother worked! | After driving on the Tamiami Trail out to the Everglades, we drove down Calle Ocho to find the terminus of US 41E (and didn't--it's out on the beach). | |

took the highway back to the airport, passing by Jackson Memorial
Hospital (where my father worked) before re-filling the car. It was a great trip! | ||
