A Day in Honduras
Roatan Island

After reading up on Roatan Island, I was scared to get off the ship for fear of getting malaria.  I finally decided to be bold, though, and book a shore excursion, the "Catamaran Sail and Snorkel," for $72.

We docked in Coxen Hole, Roatan.

Here are views of Coxen Hole, Roatan, from the ship from the deck just outside my room.

On the catamaran

The catamaran was very fun!  We sat right on top on the outside with beautiful views of the water and the island!

While snorkeling, we were in view of a shipwreck!

The water was not as clear as St. John or Maui, but it was still fun.

Yes, that is a snorkel mask mark : )

My snorkel broke during the trip, so my memories are not as wonderful as they could've been, but we took our gear off, dried off, ate lunch, and headed back.
Getting back on!

I used the Internet in the Internet shop across from HB Warren for 1 lempira per minute (15 minutes = $1)
