The Ramada Limited Metairie
I searched on the Internet
for a reasonably-priced room in the French Quarter but was
unsuccessful. My mother thought they used to stay in Metairie
when she came growing up, so I looked there and found the Ramada
Limited Metairie. The price was $75 a night (including tax and
breakfast), and it was within easy access of a mall, lots of
restaurants, and I-10. Getting to the French Quarter was
reasonably easy (but we got caught in nightmarish Superdome traffic
coming back and almost didn't think we'd make it!) They also had
a night security guard and secure parking. We were pleased with
our stay and would stay there again.

So
here was our room. It had two big beds, a desk, a TV, a fridge,
and a bathroom.

Here
was the pleasant breakfast room. There was a limited buffet with
the usual continental breakfast items.
