My 2001 Summer Trip to Europe

Venice is a series of islands in a lagoon. They don't have cars or buses; they have canals and vaparettos!

The first night in Venice, Piazza San Marco was starting to flood. Here all the gondolas are lined up for the morning. The water is so high, it's washing up over the docks.
