On the Trail of Beatrix Potter
Train, Bus, and Ferry to Hill Top Farm

As part of our Oxford and Beyond: British Children's Fantasy Writers class, we went beyond Oxford to visit Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top Farm.

We got up at 5 am to begin the journey to the Lake District.
Train journey was Oxford to Birmingham to Oxenholme to Windermere rail station.  We then caught the ferry at Bowness-on-Windermere.
