I think I scheduled a little too much time in Siena, but we made it work.

We paid the extra 10 euros ($11) to have breakfast at our hotel, out on the terrace.  Breakfast included fresh sweet croissants, yogurt, pound cake, juice, and coffee made to order. We ate our breakfast with this stunning view of the Duomo and historic Siena as a backdrop.  WOW!
After breakfast, we made our way to Il Campo, Siena's main square, and then behind it to Siena's old market.  It reminded us a lot of the empty fish market we saw at the Rialto in Venice last summer.Next, it was back to Il Camp for some photos.  Everyone was crowded in the shade!
The touristy fun of Il Campo!
We both really liked Il Campo's decorative fountain.  (So did the pigeons!) Here I am with the City Tower in the background.
Walking on Il Campo!  (It's like a brick-paved, clamshell-shaped beach.)From Il Campo, we walked to Siena's Duomo.  We got grapes for lunch and ate them as we walked around.  (It was so hot, I really struggled to eat lunch.)
After a siesta, we walked to the Fortezza (fortress) which had beautiful views of Siena.  We walked all the way around the large fortress, then we went and checked on our car.
That night for dinner, we returned to Ristorante San Domenico, but we had pasta rather than pizza.  I had hand-made ravioli in cream sauce (left), and my mother had pici (a fat local spaghetti) cacio e pepe (with cheese and pepper).  They were so good!
