One of the very first things we did in Paris was visit the Eiffel
Tower. We took the subway to the Trocadero and got this marvelous
view.

We wrote postcards to everybody after walking up to the first level.

This is a shot of Mother with Les Invalides (Napoleon's Tomb) in
the background, taken from the second level of the Eiffel Tower.

It's a long way to the very top (and you can only go by elevator),
so we stopped at the second level and walked back down.
(Yes, that is my finger!)
