Our first port of call was Skagway.
The Arctic Brotherhood Hall is quite amazing!  I was there early enough that there were very few people on the street.

I went on one of the National Park Service's walking tours.
One of our stops was Jefferson Smith's Parlor,
a Klondike Gold Rush-era building.
One of Skagway's highlights, for me, was Lower Reid Falls, just up from the Gold Rush Cemetery.  I walked from town to the cemetery and really enjoyed the falls.

Because of the cost, I took the White Pass van trip instead of the train.  It was the right choice; I really enjoyed the trip.
We drove up the White Pass all the way to Canada!

After the beautiful scenery of the top of the White Pass, we returned to Skagway, entering back into Alaska.
