After Portage Glacier, I headed south to Seward and Exit Glacier.
Even the view on the drive in is spectacular!


The ice at Exit Glacier was the bluest of all of the glaciers I visited in Alaska.  It was also different because it calves right onto the ground (not a lake or the sea).  I got to walk in some of the meltwater!
